WHAT IS BIG WHOOP...HOW DOES IT WORK?

Big Whoop is a first-of-its-kind philanthropy photography company founded in 2024 by photographer, Mitch Holson. Founded on the principle that art can, and should, drive change, Big Whoop targets celebrities, policy makers and people of influence who have a desire to use their audience to make sizable charitable donations.

Utilizing his connections from past work, Mitch contacts and photographs these individuals. At the conclusion of the shoot, the subject is given the opportunity to trigger their own self-portrait. Said portrait is then sold with 100% of the proceeds benefiting a foundation of the subjects choosing. Nothing more to it.

How does Mitch make money if 100% of the proceeds are sent to charity, you ask? Through gracious sponsorship opportunities and sales of non-charity prints, Mitch is able to continue his work. Interested in sponsoring the next shoot? Get in touch!
